Zildjian Limited Edition 400th Anniversary Jazz T Shirt - XL

From the 1930s to the 1950s, Avedis Zildjian quickly embraced the talented musicians at the forefront of the Jazz movement. As an Armenian residing in Turkey, Avedis was himself discriminated against during his childhood, and made a promise that the Zildjian company would be no place for discrimination, and would collaborate closely with African-American artists such as Chick Webb and Papa Jo Jones, who helped Avedis develop the hi-hat. Also during this innovative period, Avedis developed and named the "Paper Thin Crash", "Ride", "Splash", "Hi-Hat", and "Sizzle" cymbals. This limited edition Zildjian 400th Anniversary t shirt pays tribute to the inception of Jazz music and the impact that Zildjian cymbals had during that era, with a design that encapsulates the collaborative spirit and continuous movement of Jazz music. Soft and lightweight, these tees feature unisex sizing to suit every drummer!
